This is a photographic journal of world explorer Richard Wiese, the former president of The Explorers Club, host of exploration with Richard Wiese and author of “Born to Explore”. This forum is meant to be a positive celebration of the outdoors and a learning tool for both the author and reader.

This is a celebration of all explorers, big and small, that have a yearning to discover and learn more about the world around them. “The World Explorer” is a perpetual apprentice as the understanding of one subject or area of expertise leads to many other questions and gaps in one’s knowledge. There is more that we don’t know than we do. Explorers strive to continually evolve.
